I get a lot of submissions from people telling me this site is racist while simultaneously suggesting: “I was going to create a ‘Stupid Shit Black People Say’ tumblr but everything they say is stupid.” …You see, those kinds of sentiments are obviously racist.  There are bigots and proud racists out there who actively discriminate. This site is not a repository for their hate speech.  

On the contrary, this site is dedicated to the well-meaning, good people who are racist, oftentimes, unknowingly.  This New York Times article speaks to that.  Hopefully, those who are having trouble, will now be able to detect the nuance in the differentiation.
